Eligibility Standards

Valid Driver's License

Must hold a valid driver's license issued by North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia. License must be in good standing with no suspensions or restrictions.

Clean Driving Record

Driving record is reviewed during screening process. No major violations, DUI/DWI, or excessive traffic citations. Record must demonstrate safe, responsible driving history.

Background Check

Must pass comprehensive background check including criminal history review. No violent crimes, sexual offenses, or felonies within the past seven years.

Minimum Age

Must be at least 21 years old with a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience in the United States.

Vehicle Standards

Vehicle Inspection Required

All vehicles must pass a comprehensive inspection covering safety systems, mechanical condition, and cleanliness standards. Inspections verify brakes, tires, lights, signals, and overall vehicle safety.

  • Model 10 years or newer
  • 4-door sedan or SUV
  • No commercial branding or damage
  • Functional air conditioning and heating

Clean, Well-Maintained Condition

Vehicles must be maintained in clean, professional condition at all times. Interior and exterior cleanliness is monitored and enforced.

  • Clean interior free of debris and odors
  • Exterior washed and presentable
  • No excessive wear or torn upholstery
  • Regular maintenance records

Passenger Seating Rules

Drivers can set their seating preference in driver settings. Passenger capacity depends on this preference:

Front Seat Allowed

Maximum 4 passengers per ride

Back Seat Only

Maximum 3 passengers per ride

Insurance Requirements

Drivers must maintain appropriate auto insurance coverage and any required rideshare or for-hire coverage as mandated by state and local regulations.

  • Valid Auto Insurance

    Current insurance policy meeting state minimum requirements. Policy must be in driver's name or list driver as covered operator.

  • Rideshare Coverage

    Additional rideshare or for-hire coverage may be required depending on jurisdiction. Drivers are responsible for maintaining appropriate coverage.

  • Valid Vehicle Registration

    Vehicle must be registered in driver's name with current, valid registration. Registration must match vehicle being used for rides.

Professional Behavior

Drivers are expected to maintain professional conduct at all times. This includes:

  • Courteous and respectful communication
  • Professional appearance and hygiene
  • Safe, defensive driving practices
  • Adherence to traffic laws and regulations

Rating & Performance Monitoring

Driver performance is continuously monitored through:

  • Passenger rating system
  • Acceptance and completion rates
  • Cancellation rate tracking
  • Policy violation reviews

Performance Enforcement

Consistent quality is maintained through accountability. Drivers who fail to meet professional standards or maintain acceptable ratings may face warnings, suspension, or deactivation from the network.
